Born in East Belfast. Played tenor sax and formed first band in London, 1967, the Richard Henry Sensation, with Richard Henry Dejohnette as lead singer and David O'List on lead guitar. Played in a number of ska, and soul bands, notably Simon K and the Meantimers. Took up guitar in 2006.
